Why Get a Store?
Nearly everyone has council-mandated wheelie bins and recycling boxes these days, and they're pretty convenient, though not without their problems. Just where are you supposed to put those recycling boxes? In your home or exposed to the weather outside? As for wheelie bins, they're hardly attractive; they also smell bad and can easily be tipped over by wind, animals or even people. A store will help protect your bins and boxes and keep them hidden out of sight so you don't have to see them.
How Big?
Here you're getting a box that has four compartments. Three of these are designed to hold standard-sized wheelie bins, and one is split with a horizontal shelf so that you can store two standard recycling boxes. You'll need to ensure your bins and boxes fit inside and that you have enough space on your property to fit the store (and open the doors and lids!). The actual measurements are:

The unit fits a 240-litre wheelie bin, so it will also accommodate bins in 180 and 140-litre sizes.

Quality and Materials
You're looking at top-quality materials here, so there's no danger of your store falling apart soon! The wood is redwood and is pressure treated, so it's naturally strong and sturdy and can be left out in all weather. You'll need to stain the wood once a year to keep things looking good. Handles and hinges are metal, so you don't need to worry about breakages. And if you're green, know that the wood is FCE certified and comes from renewable resources. Lastly, this UK product is made in the Ribble Valley, Lancashire, so you're supporting the domestic economy too!
What Else Do You Need to Know?
We're not entirely done yet! The lids come with chains, meaning you can connect bin and store lids to open both simultaneously; very convenient! The outward opening front doors let you easily remove bins and boxes and put them away again. And if you worry about security, then there's the option of adding hasps that you can lock to keep everything safe and sound.
The store is self-standing, so essentially, you can put it anywhere you like. A galvanised floor bar is provided to run under the doors, which helps prevent unwanted movement and ensure the doors hang true.
Construction from the flat pack is easy, you'll get full instructions, and you'll need simple tools and a little time; no experience is necessary.

This is a really handy addition to our garden. There’s enough room for all three of our wheelie bins and it keeps them out of sight and protected from the elements. You can open from the top to access the bin without having to drag it out too, which is super handy. I’m really pleased with this overall, it’s a top notch product.
